About Margaret Pham

Margaret’s journey in physiotherapy began with her love for sports and an active lifestyle. Growing up in Ontario, she spent countless hours outdoors, playing ice hockey, soccer, and cross-country skiing. Her passion for field hockey eventually brought her to Vancouver, where she completed her Bachelor of Kinesiology at UBC while competing with the UBC Varsity Field Hockey Team. Over seven years, Margaret proudly represented Canada on the Junior and Senior National Field Hockey Teams, competing internationally.

She later earned her Master of Physical Therapy from the University of British Columbia, where she was honoured with the National Orthopaedic Division Award for her leadership, advocacy, and dedication to orthopaedics. Margaret’s experience rehabbing her own sports injuries, along with her work as a strength and conditioning assistant for UBC Athletics and a youth field hockey coach, fueled her passion for helping others achieve their physical goals. Her background as a kinesiologist allowed her to collaborate with diverse healthcare professionals, further sparking her interest in guiding clients toward improved mobility and function.

With a compassionate, client-centered approach, Margaret emphasizes education, manual therapy, and active rehabilitation. She takes pride in building meaningful connections with her clients, tailoring each treatment plan to their unique needs so they leave feeling supported and empowered. In her spare time, she can be found cycling around Stanley Park, hitting the gym, hiking, camping, playing pickleball—and treating herself to something sweet!
