Dr. Bahram Groohi is an Orthopedic surgeon working in both the Footbridge Centre for Orthopaedic Care and St. Paul’s Hospital.  He was born and raised in Iran. After finishing high school, he directly entered Iran university University of Medical science in Tehran and obtained his medical degree. He then moved to Canada, where he obtained his license as a family physician and began practicing in Manitoba. He went back to the University of Manitoba where he completed his orthopedic residency and then a fellowship in hip and knee arthroplasty.  Upon completion of his residency, he worked as an orthopedic surgeon in New Brunswick until 2024.  He then made his way west to BC. He likes hiking and enjoys fishing. World history is his other interest outside of medicine.
