About Lauren Barnett

Lauren obtained her Masters of Physical Therapy and Bachelor of Kinesiology from the University of British Columbia. While at UBC, she enjoyed working in research to assess the impact of exercise and movement on various clinical populations. Lauren includes an evidence based approach to treating orthopaedic injuries through a combination of manual therapy, exercise prescription and education. She values working collaboratively with her clients to ensure they reach their goals and get back to doing what they love.

Born and raised in Toronto, Lauren is a reluctant Maple Leafs fan who grew up immersing herself in a wide variety of sports. She is a former competitive figure skater, but also enjoyed participating in Track and Field, Soccer and Volleyball. After moving to Vancouver to pursue her undergraduate degree, Lauren turned to road biking, and hiking to explore BC. Whenever possible, Lauren enjoys travelling locally and abroad to explore regional cuisine, but more importantly to find the best coffee in town.
