About Talia Hennessy

Talia has a background in high-performance sport and a strong connection to an active, outdoor lifestyle. She takes a collaborative, goal-oriented approach, working with clients to build clear, individualized plans that reflect what matters most to them. Her treatment combines evidence-informed exercise and hands-on therapy to support recovery from injury, return to sport, and the development of sustainable strategies to stay strong and resilient throughout life.

Talia completed her training while playing rugby at both the University of Ottawa and University of British Columbia. She has also trained with Rugby Canada and continues to play with the UBCOB Ravens. Her experience in contact sport has shaped her understanding of injury management and the process of returning to performance.

She has a particular interest in post-operative rehabilitation and enjoys supporting clients through all stages of recovery. Her areas of interest include ACL reconstruction, Achilles tendon ruptures, and shoulder injuries such as instability and rotator cuff-related conditions.

Outside the clinic, Talia spends most of her time in the mountains: skiing, hiking, running, and cycling, while continuing to pursue her own performance goals in rugby and endurance events.
